RED CABBAGE
Boiled cabbage recipe

Cut cabbage into 6 wedges.




Use a 6-10 quart stock pot, fill to 1/2 inch of water, add 1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoon sugar and ½ tablespoon caraway seeds. Bring to a boil, add cabbage and boil for about 8 minutes with pot covered. Remove the cover and simmer about 8 minutes longer, or until cabbage is tender. Drain off any excess water. Add 1 stick melted butter; carefully coating all the cabbage. Salt and pepper to taste.
