CABBAGE
Microwave Cabbage Recipe
Microwave: Power Level: HIGH
Approximate Cooking Time: 11 minutes
Yield: 6 servings
1 small head cabbage, cut into 6 wedges (about 1 and ½ lb.)
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/4 cup water
In an oblong baking dish, heat butter 1 minute on High until melted.
Brush the cabbage with butter and arrange in microwave baking dish, sprinkle with caraway and water. Heat, covered, 8-10 minutes on HIGH until cabbage is almost tender; let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
