Glazed Honey Butter Carrots
Two Honey Carrot Recipes

Recipe # 1 Using Fresh Carrots
3 cups fresh sliced carrots or 20 whole
baby carrots
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons chopped parsley
1 teaspoon yellow mustard

Instructions:
Steam or microwave carrots until tender. Mix and heat the honey, butter, mustard and parsley, stir mixture in with carrots tossing to coat evenly. 

Makes 4 servings

Recipe #2 Using Canned Carrots
3 cups canned sliced carrots, juice drained and discarded
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1/8 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
pinch of salt

Make the Honey Syrup Mixture:
Heat butter until melted, stir in pumpkin pie spice and salt then the honey and corn syrup.

Stir this honey mixture in with the carrots. Heat everything together in a saucepan or in a microwave until warmed. Toss to coat evenly. 

Makes 4 servings
