CHINESE BARBECUE RIBS - BBQ - BAR BQ SPARE RIBS
Small Spare Rib with Peking Sauce Glaze
Ingredients
2-1/2 lb. slab pork ribs; cut bone in pieces
1/4 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoon soy sauce
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup Ketchup
1 tablespoon Hoisin Sauce (Peking Sauce)
2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
3 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
Method
Mix all Ingredients together except honey. Heat and stir until sauce mixes well, remove sauce from heat and split sauce into two portions. Use only one portion to lightly brush ribs on both sides. Let ribs set covered overnight under refrigeration.
Next day; Place ribs on broiler pan. Bake at 350-F for 1 to 1 ½ hours until done.
Turn oven to broil. Add honey to the saved remaining mixture, brush ribs and broil each side a few minutes to glaze ribs.
