SAUCE RECIPE FOR SANDWICHES
Durkee Famous Sandwich and Salad Sauce Substitute
Try this inexpensive to make sandwich spread recipe on subs, burgers, turkey and ALL sandwiches.
* No it's not Durkee but it's good!
Ingredients
½ teaspoon onion powder (McCormick Brand)
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard (Kroger Brand)
1 cup Best Buy Real Mayonnaise (Kroger Brand)
3 tablespoon plain yogurt
2 tablespoon juice from a dill pickle jar (Vlasic Brand)
Method
Mix all ingredients as listed until smooth. Chill in refrigerator, in a covered container for several hours or overnight. Stir lightly before using.
