BREADED CHICKEN BASKET
Fried Chicken Fillet for Sandwiches or
make a Chicken Nugget Basket  using Breaded
Chicken Breasts, Serve with Cole Slaw,  French
Fries and a Ranch Dressing for Dip.

Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
¼  teaspoon mace
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 egg, beaten
1/2 cup water
6 boneless 4-5 oz. chicken breast fillets, unfrozen
Vegetable Shortening or Peanut Oil
6 sesame seed buns

Method
Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl. In a separate container mix egg and water. Dip chicken fillets into flour mixture, shake off excess flour, dip into egg mixture and then into flour mixture again. Let set for 5-10 minutes for flour to stick. Drop into oil 1-2 inches deep using a medium heat; fry until edges brown then turn over, fry till tender. Set fried pieces on a paper towel. Serve warm on sesame seed buns.
Serves 6

Top sandwich off with a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, 2-3 sliced hamburger pickles and spread bun with Mayonnaise.

*Optional make chicken nuggets by cutting each fillet into 6 pieces and frying individually.
