Yard Sale Tips. Make Extra Cash Selling Your Stuff!
Holding a Yard Sale. You haul out your items,
you sit by it, you drag it back inside.
To actually sell it, follow these sales tips:

Pick the Right Time
Sundays are not the best! People like to spend that day with their families. Your best bet is Saturday, before college classes begin for the year or, if there's a large employer nearby, right after payday.

Welcome the Early Birds
Every yard sale has them: early birds that arrive while you're setting thing up. Don't shoo them away, but make them pay for inconveniencing you. Charge early birds double! You'll make good money before the yard sale even starts.

Lower Your Standards
No item is useless. Yard sale addicts buy a broken cordless phone for the battery, an answering machine for the tapes, and a busted VCR for the remote.

Signs
How many signs do you need? Experts say the magic number is 30, hung at every big intersection and corner within a mile of your home. Use bright colors, but use the same colors on every sign. And don't just list your address. Draw big arrows pointing in the right direction.

If you do not have a lot of item's to sell, get your neighbors involved by them joining in and them selling their items using their own set-up tables.
MAKE IT A FUN DAY!
