Great tasting Mac & Cheese

Stove Top Homemade - Quick Recipe
Go ahead.. make a full meal out of it, it’s that good!

3 cups large elbow macaroni
3 tablespoons butter
3 slices of American cheese
1 can (10 ½ oz) Cheddar Cheese condensed soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil macaroni according to package instructions 
(Do not overcook, leave it slightly chewy.)
Drain well in a strainer. Return cooked macaroni to pan while still hot. Add 3 slices cheese and 3 tablespoon butter, stir until melted.
Add and stir in the cheddar cheese soup. Heat a little more if needed.

Serve letting everyone add their own salt and black pepper.

Makes 6-8 servings

For Baked Macaroni and Cheese:
Bake covered with tinfoil at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Bake uncovered another 15 minutes more until bubbly brown.

Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
