Easy Strawberry Pie with Black Cherries when
in season..
Ingredients
Boil 1-1/2 cup water with 1 tablespoon cornstarch, stir in 3/4 cup sugar. Stir in one small box of strawberry Jello, let cool but not set.
Method
Put 1 quart fresh whole or cut up strawberries and 1/3 cup pitted and cut in halves, black cherries into a 9" pre-baked pie shell, pour cooled sauce over fruits. Refrigerate for several hours. Top with Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream and serve.
