Toasted Tuna Melt
2 cans (5 oz each) Tuna, drained
1/3 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon paprika
1/3 cup finely chopped celery
8 slices bread
1-2 slices cheese for each sandwich
In a medium bowl, combine tuna,
mayonnaise, onion, celery, paprika,
salt, pepper, vinegar; mix well.
Butter bread slices on one side. (buttered sides will be the cook side.)
Top 4 of the slices of bread with 1 or 2 slice cheese each. Spread tuna mixture over cheese slices and top with remaining bread slices.
Place in medium hot skillet. Cook on medium heat until lightly browned to your liking on both sides.
Makes 4 sandwiches
