French Dip Sandwich
this beef dip recipe is delicious

Use thinly-sliced cooked deli roast beef on a roll, add provolone cheese, fried sweet onions and serve Au Jus (savory beef juice, served on the side for dipping).

2 tablespoons Minor’s Au Jus prep or similar beef flavor concentrate product
1 teaspoon Knorr’s instant powder beef bouillon
2 cups water
1 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef
8 slices provolone cheese
1 or 2 large sweet onions, sliced then salt and peppered and lightly fried in butter
4 hoagie Sub rolls, split lengthwise

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Open the hoagie rolls and lay out on a baking sheet. Heat Knorr’s beef bouillon and Minor’s Au Jus with 2 cups water in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat to make a rich beef broth. Turn off heat then place the roast beef slices in the broth and warm for 3 minutes. Arrange the meat on the 4 hoagie rolls and top each roll with some fried onions and two slices of provolone. Bake the sandwiches in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese just begins to melt. Serve the sandwiches with small bowls of the warm broth for dipping.
