Fuddruckers Burger Clone Recipe
Enjoy a good burger at home using your grill.
Ingredients
1 pound black Angus ground hamburger or ½ pound high fat ground
hamburger and ½ pound ground chuck
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon Adobe Seasoning - A Latino spice with a mixture that contains salt including garlic, onion, Clincher black pepper (a must), Mexican oregano, cumin and cayenne red pepper. Sold in most food supermarkets, usually in the Mexican food isle.
½ teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning - Contains celery salt, mustard, red pepper, black pepper, bay leaves, clovers, all spice, ginger, mace, cardamom, cinnamon and paprika
Instructions
In a bowl, sprinkle brown sugar and the spices over ground meat and mix everything in well using food handler gloves.
Cover bowl and place in a refrigerator for at least two hours or overnight.
Remove from refrigerator and divide into 4-5 patties. Flatten each between two sheets of wax paper to any thickness you want.
Grill, pan fry or oven broil them. Add American deli cheese and load up the bun with all your favorite things and do not forget those crispy, crunchy “Claussen” sliced kosher dill pickles (Good pickles have an audible crunch at 10 paces.)
