MCDONALD'S COPYCAT
Fish Fillet Sandwich - Filet o Fish.
From Cooks Imitation Handbook

Note: To our understanding; McDonalds uses
Gorton North American Seafood Breaded Fish
Fillets which are prepared especially for
McDonald's in a square shape. You wont find
the square shaped ones at your supermarket
but you still can buy them in the regular filet
shape. (See Photo Below)
Let your taste be the proof, McDonalds may
deep fry them but when baked according
to package instructions then let cool, the
breading becomes crunchy.

SAUCE
Ingredients
Very small pinch Cayenne pepper
Tiny  pinch of garlic powder
Pinch salt
1/4  teaspoon sugar
Pinch mustard powder
1 heaping teaspoon sour cream
2-3 heaping tablespoon Kroger brand Real Mayonnaise
½ teaspoon Vlasic brand DILL pickle juice from the jar
2 teaspoon Vlasic brand DILL relish.

EACH SANDWICH
1 Bun, slightly toast inside of both buns in a frying pan
(McDonald uses slightly sweet dough buns, delivered
by their baker) Substitute bun with your favorite
hamburger bun.
2 fillets of Gorton frozen Southern Fried
Fish Fillets, bake them, uncovered (425F)
for 18 minutes, turning once after 10 minutes
and until coating is golden brown and crunchy.
1 Slice of Kraft Deli Deluxe American Cheese
(Make sure cheese is room temperature, place
a cheese slice on the bottom bun then arrange
two, still hot, fillets on it. Let fillets cool to slightly warm as they will get more
crunchy as they cool..
Spoon on 1 tablespoon prepared sauce.
