Barbecue rub for, mild hot pork ribs and chicken

Memphis-Style Dry Rub

Rub Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ cup Hungarian Sweet Paprika 
1 teaspoon white pepper     
½ teaspoon curry powder
3 tablespoons kosher cooking salt 
1-1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
1-1/2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 tablespoon sweet basil

Shake well in an air-tight zipper lock bag.
Sprinkle moderately to plentiful on both sides of ribs, spreading all over and patting. Place ribs in refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow rub to stick to meat. Store leftover rub mix in an air-tight zipper lock bag.

Enough for 3-4 full pork slabs
